The Committee of The Ring of Gullion Vintage and Harvest Festival wishes to thank everyone who braved the weather and supported the Ploughing Championships in Kilcurry on Sunday, March 12.
We especially wish to thank Tom Murphy, Carrickasticken, for the use of his field without which the event would not have taken place. Special thanks to Doherty Developments for lining out the fields. To all those who baked bread and scones, made soup, served tea and anyone else who helped out on the day.
To John Campbell for his contribution to our video, to Steven Mc Nulty for entertaining us, and to our judge Sean Cooney.

We would welcome you all back for the ‘Cutting of the Corn’ which will take place in mid-August and the ‘Threshing of the Corn’ happening on the August 26 and 27 at Tí Chulainn, Mullaghbawn. More details to come so look out!
