Friends of Children, the charity for children with life-limiting illnesses, launched its annual gala ball yesterday, Monday, with the help of the Maidens of Mourne.

The launch took place at JT Carpets, the Old Mill, Bessbrook and the 2005 Prince, Shane Carroll and Princesses Tara McStravick and Ashlene McPolin meet with the maidens. T
